Committees

As the foremost representative body for the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB) plays a pivotal role in fostering the robust development and stability of the banking and financial sector. To ensure the Association's efficacy and sustained growth, a suite of specialized permanent committees has been established to address the multifaceted nuances of the industry. These committees are instrumental in advancing BAB’s vision and mission by tackling strategic imperatives, offering expert counsel, and overseeing the seamless execution of initiatives designed to elevate the nation's financial services landscape. Currently, BAB comprises twelve permanent committees spanning diverse banking verticals, as detailed below, with ad hoc committees convened as circumstances dictate.
